City & Guilds bursary
The City & Guilds Foundation offers a bursary programme to support learners in financial need. Covering up to £6,000, this bursary opens doors to quality electrical training for those who meet the eligibility criteria.

What is a bursary?
A bursary is financial support awarded to students based on need, covering some or all of your course fees.
How much can i get?
Successful applicants can receive up to £6,000 towards the cost of their training.
Who is eligible?
- 18+ years old
- Be a UK resident studying in the UK.
- Be in genuine financial need.
- Not have started the course yet.*
Armed forces funding (elcas)
The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces.
Providing financial support in each of a maximum of three separate financial years, the scheme enables higher level learning of a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 or above (or approved international equivalent) with an approved Learning Provider.
How does it work?
- You must be a registered Scheme Member with sufficient accrued service before submitting an online claim.
- If you are still serving speak to your Education Staff, or, for Service Leavers contact your SSR to check if you are eligible and get your account initiated .
