Course details

This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians interested in understanding how to install and maintain the range of electrical vehicle charging equipment and systems available. It aims to provide expert guidance to learners wishing to gain further knowledge and understanding of electric vehicle charging equipment installation and maintenance

 

We will also be covering how to redesign commercial premises and public spaces to accommodate electric vehicle chargers and the electrical supply systems. We will also cover the safety requirements, maintenance strategy and technical assurance process for designing electric vehicle charging sites.

Entry requirements

  • Open to anyone 18 or over
  • NVQ in Electrcial or Gold Card
  • Level 2 English and Maths are recommended

How will I be assessed?

This will be assessed by completing 2 written test papers, design project.
