Who is this course for?

This course is for learners who have already completed their Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation.

Course details

The City & Guilds 2366 Level 3 is the latest update of the City & Guilds 2365-03 and now includes the current 18th edition wiring regulations qualification. 

This course is the intended progression route for candidates who have already achieved the 2365 Level 2. You do not need to be working in the trade to complete this qualification so it is ideal for candidates new to the electrical trade and those presently working in the industry. 

The course has been designed for candidates wanting a viable entry route into the electrical industry. This qualification provides an Understanding of Requirements of Electrical Installations, Principles of Electrical Science, Fault Diagnosis and Rectification, Inspection, Organising and Overseeing Electrical Work Activities in Buildings, Testing and Commissioning and Electrical system Design.

The course can be started by anyone over the age of 19, it is recommended to have achieved Level 2 in English and Maths, but this is not a requirement and the course can still be successfully completed without any prior qualifications.

  • Must hold relevant Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations
  • Level 2 English and Maths are recommended
  • Suitable for those with some experience looking to gain qualifications
