This course is the starting point for anyone who is wanting to train and become a fully qualified electrician.
Course details
The Level 2 Diploma 2365 is the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to become a qualified gold card Electrician. The Level 2 diploma covers Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors. The diploma route is fully recognised by the industry. This course covers a range of electrical installations plus practical skills and theory required for you to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma. The Level 2 2365 is suitable for a beginner or for someone already in the industry but lacking the essential qualifications to progress.
The course can be started by anyone over the age of 18, it is recommended to have achieved Level 2 in English and Maths, but this is not a requirement and the course can still be successfully completed without any prior qualifications.

You will need to complete exams and Practical assessments, workshops for learning the practical skills are included across all of our learning options. We offer weekly practical sessions along side the theory so that you gain all the skills need to move in to a career in Electrical. (This course is one day at the weekend or 2 evenings a week)
Entry requirements
- Open to anyone 18 or over
- No formal qualifications required – though Level 2 English and Maths are recommended
- Suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience looking to gain qualifications
How will I be assessed?
This has a range of online multiple choice exams, and practical assessments.
