This qualification provides a comprehensive understanding of the specific and supplementary requirements related to the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems and electrical energy storage systems, in domestic and small commercial settings.
Operatives working on or with voltages between 0-1000V AC are required to work competently to the BS7671. The 2382-18 City and Guilds qualification ensures learners have sufficient knowledge of the wiring regulations, how to use and access the book and apply the regulations to the real world.
This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians interested in understanding how to install and maintain the range of electrical vehicle charging equipment and systems available.
All operatives that want to progress to any of the following or similar; JIB grading as an Approved Electrician status, the NICEIC Electrical Contractor status or NAPIT’s Electrical Inspector Scheme.
The day will cover legal and practical aspects of safe isolation, you will be carrying out safe isolation on arrange of accessories and equipment to ensure they can be worked on safely.
The day will cover a range of theory & practical elements to prepare you for the AM2, AM2S, AM2E, we have arrange of training rigs and a fully equipped workshop to allow you to practise all the elements of the AM2.
