Inspection and Testing practice/Assessment Rigs
Here at Just Electrical Training Ltd we offer a full range of inspection and testing practice/ assessment rigs.
As a City and Guilds approved centre, we understand the requirements of the range of City and Guilds electrical qualifications so that we can design and build training/assessment rigs to help learners obtain the skills required for both their assessments and also moving in to the world of work in their chosen career.
All of our rigs come mounted on professionally cut 18mm melamine faced board with high impact edging, available in a wide range of colours, which means that our rigs are long lasting as well as wipe clean and have a very high-quality finish.
Our standard rigs are 1200mm x 900mm in grey, these rigs can be wall mounted, fitted to a mobile rig (sold separately) or be used on a table top, meaning that you can introduce practical in to classrooms and free up valuable workshop space/time.
If you do require a different size rig then we can supply rigs in any size.
All of our practise rigs come with at least 3 faults with our 1200mm x 900mm rigs coming with 6 switchable faults, so that learners can gain valuable experience of fault finding and how to locate faults within a circuit.
What’s included in a typical 1200mm x 900mm rig?
- 6 switchable faults ranging from open circuits to earth faults and interconnected circuits including job cards.
- Minimum of 4 circuits.
- Main protective bonding.
- Simulated loads for higher power items such as, water heaters, cookers etc.
- A range of MCBs, RCDs, RCBOs and SPDs.
- Circuits fitted with a range of resistors to gain realistic test values.
- 13A or 16A plug.
- Quality branded products from Click.
Assessment Rigs to Awarding Body Specifications
We offer a range of assessment rigs built to awarding body specifications:
- 5357/2365/8202 inspection and testing/fault rig, this can be built remotely or on-site.
- 5357/2365 transformer assessment rig.
- 2391 inspection and testing rig.
We can also offer the EAL equivalent rigs.
All our assessment rigs come mounted on the same professionally cut 18mm melamine faced board with high impact edging as our practice rigs.
