Project Description
All operatives that want to progress to any of the following or similar; JIB grading as an Approved Electrician status, the NICEIC Electrical Contractor status or NAPIT’s Electrical Inspector Scheme. The Level 3 in Inspection and Testing ensure learners can professionally install and carry out initial verification and periodic inspection and testing on electrical installations. The qualification has no formal entry requirements, however, we recommend that candidates have competent knowledge of Electrical Installations and are up to date with current industry requirements.
Course Content
The course is assessed by one 2 hours multiple-choice exam, one short written exercise and one practical assessment. The Inspection and Testing course covers Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors.

- Understand safety management procedures when undertaking inspection and testing
- Understand the requirements for the inspection of electrical installations
- Understand the requirements for testing electrical installations
- Perform inspection and testing of electrical installations
Qualifications
You will be required to have a Level 3 in electrical installations, you will also need to have a very good understanding of testing procedures, fault finding and completing test paperwork.
